I am passionate about cooking and sharing it with others.

I was born in Mozambique to Goan parents (India)

I studied Social Studies and then moved to London in 1999, where Istarted a career in Social Work and discovered a passion for cookingand organising events.


After moving back to Lisbon, I created acompany – Home Food Events


In 2009, dedicated to catering servicesand event organisation. What started as a hobby soon became a fulltime activity.


Over the past recent years, I have had the opportunity to live and work in Lisboa, London, Marrakesh and Algarve, where I am currently based, and to travel across the world to places like India, Brazil, Asia and throughout Europe, searching and learning the art of cooking andhospitality from different like-minded people and sources.

In 2019, I rebranded my company to
ANISE – A Cuisine Affair, to continue to fuel my talent with a modern, fresh approach but with thesame passion for cooking and sharing it with others.
